Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are placed in teeth that have been damaged by decay or wear. Our dentists use either porcelain or composite for dental fillings. A filling helps to prevent further decay by sealing spaces and restoring teeth back into shape to render them functional. Dental fillings can also be used to build up broken teeth, or to reshape them to correct minor misalignments. Materials used include composite (white resin fillings) and porcelain (white ceramic fillings). Our practice is an amalgam-free practice. We also offer safe replacement of amalgam fillings with white fillings.
