Dr Chintan Soni

Chintan has been practising dentistry for more than a decade now. Chintan graduated from dental school in India in 2006. During his studies, he developed a deep interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry. After practising dentistry for three years in India, he moved to Australia and served as a senior dental officer in Goondiwindi for Queensland Health until 2012. He then joined Optima Dental Care as a senior associate dentist in Gladstone, where he earned the title of “Gentle Dentist” in the local community.
Chintan has recently joined The Smile Workx as a principal dentist. Apart from general dentistry, he has undertaken extensive training in implants, invisible orthodontics (clear braces), anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and cosmetic smile makeovers.

Dr Pierre Joubert

Pierre is originally from South Africa. He has been working at The Smile Workx for more than 13 years now. With more than 30 years’ experience in dentistry, Pierre has set his standards very high when it comes to delivering quality treatment. Pierre has a special interest in root canal treatments, crowns and bridges, complex extractions, and quadrant dentistry. Recently, Pierre transferred ownership of The Smile Workx into the capable hands of Dr Chintan Soni. In his spare time, Pierre enjoys fishing and travel.

Dr Alice Cumming

Dr Alice Cumming is a graduate of Sydney University Dental School who moved to Noosa in 1996 after practising for many years in Sydney, the Gold Coast, and variousregional areas in both New South Wales and Queensland.
She first opened The Smile Workx in 2002 and has been in the practice since then.
Originally in a full-time capacity, she has gradually cut back that position to currently only three days a week, as well as relinquishing ownership, to allow more time for working on her golf handicap and, of course, her travel plans.
Alice’s pet interests in dentistry are cosmetics and smile enhancement.
